The new Leiden University 2015 Regulation on Business Travel and Subsistance Costs comes into effect on 1 April 2015. Leiden University recently entered into a Horizontal Supervision agreement with the Tax Office. This agreement will make it possible to simplify the process of claiming business travel expenses and reduce the administrative workload of our staff.
The 'Travel and Expenses' application in Self Service has been modified to reflect the new Regulation and now needs to be re-installed. It will take several days to re-install the application, during which time it will not be possible to submit expense forms via Self Service. According to the current planning, the application will not be available from Tuesday 31 March 18.00 hrs up to and including Saturday 4 April 2015. These dates will also be indicated in Self Service and updated in line with any changes in the planning.
