P&O News 17 February 2015
Leiden University looks forward to welcoming new colleagues to the introductory session for new members of staff on 16 March 2015.
In the morning you will be given an introduction to the history of Leiden University and you will learn about the aims and dilemmas facing the University today and over the coming period. We believe it is important for you to have a good understanding of the University as a whole, because achieving our ambitions for the future is something that we have to do together. The session is made up of several presentations, but you will also have a tour of the beautifully restored Academy Building and a walk through the city, taking in some of the University's most impressive buildings. At the end of the day, not only will you know more about the University and the city, you will also have got to know some of your new colleagues.
|"This is a great way to find out about the city where you are working. The way the information is presented makes it a real pleasure to listen to."|
